  • AR/VR/XR

  • 3D Scanning, 3D Modeling, 3D Printing

  • Industrial Fabrication & Automation

Co-Founder & President

LexSet, 2017 - present

LexSet is building an agile development platform for Computer Vision systems. We create synthetic data training data for ML in near real time and train and host the models they support. We simulate real-world objects with 3D content. This allows us to generate unlimited amounts of training data and precisely tailor the composition of a dataset for a given use case; customizing camera position, lighting, occlusions, and materials while allowing for infinite iterations that can be adjusted in real time.

Founder CEO

Metamason, 2013 - 2017

Metamason’s healthcare-focused Scan·Fit·Print™ process integrated 3D body scanning, algorithmic design and 3D printing to create the world’s first truly custom respiratory mask for CPAP therapy (Fortune). Exploring the limits of combining 3D scanning, generative design, and 3D printing; we authored four utility/design patents for the company around the printing of silicone and generative design from 3D scans to create personalize products.

  • First company founded by the ArtCenter / CalTech Design Accelerator (founded while in grad school at ArtCenter’s GradID Industrial Design program)

  • Member of Singularity University Labs program,SU Faculty Member

  • Raised over $3.8M in venture funding funding

  • Invented process for 3D printing medical grade silicone in partnership with 3D Systems

  • Filed and granted 3 patents on additive manufacturing and scan-to-fit medical devices

  • Oversaw execution of successful clinical trials, n of 10 study

  • Won three pitch competition awards: 3D Heals (‘16), Inside3D Printing (‘15), Plus Yoo Innovation Forum (‘14)

  • 2 SxSW Interactive Innovation Award Nominations (‘15) (‘16), Singularity University Global Grand Challenge Award Nomination (‘15)

  • CES Innovation Award Honoree (‘18)

  • Press features including Fortune, Huffington Post, Slashdot, Reason
