President & Co-Founder (formerly CEO)
LexSet, 2017 - present
LexSet is building an agile development platform for Computer Vision systems. Solving the biggest bottle neck in vision AI, the lack of training data, with TDaaS (training data as a service) using 3D content to create training data by simulating the real world.
I was recruited by Intellectual Ventures as Entrepreneur-in-Residence to commercialize portfolio of 38 patents in object recognition, with inventors including Bill Gates and Satya Nadella. Then accelerated by XRC Labs (‘18), Plug N Play’s Brand & Retail (‘18), and the RLab Spatial Computing Accelerator. I set the vision for the company, hired and led team of experts across product, operations and engineering. Within the first six months to market, identified and closed $275K in deals from industry leaders across robotics, furniture and industrial applications.
Won three pitch competition awards: DataConLA (‘19), GS1 Connect (‘19), and Augmented World Expo (‘19), as well as placing in the top 10 of the EPiC HKSTP international elevator pitch championship. Named a top 10 finalist in the Verizon Built on 5G Challenge, and was voted the People’s Choice Winner of the O’Reilly Media Emerging AI Pioneers Showcase.
